Dream Journal: Surprise Solemn
February 17, 2026I had this dream where in that dream I was at a wedding. I remember asking a question who's waiting is this? Then someone came to me with the groom's dress on a hanger. He told me that's mine to wear. I got shocked I'm so confused. I remember being really upset and complaining to my big brother about it. I started asking so many questions like who is this woman I'm marrying and why am I marrying her? I don't even know her. Where's my wife? Where's my family?
In that dream I recall the woman was an Arab woman. And I started thinking in overdrive, if I don't marry her, I'm probably going to be hunted down by her family member, so I thought to myself maybe I should run away.
And I ask where's Alanur? Then I saw her happily preparing and helping out for the wedding. And I thought to myself. Is this some kind of joke or prank? Her family was there but my family wasn't.
Then I woke up. You have no idea how relieved I was knowing it was just a dream.
I never understood having more than one wife. It's hard enough to just have one. May Allah never test me in things that I am not capable of.
